Scouting Program
Cub Scouts
If you are a boy in first grade through fifth grade—or you’re 7 to 10 years old—then Cub Scouting is for you. Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids! They get to wear a cool uniform, go places, and see things. They play all kinds of sports and build things, like race cars and bird houses. Want to learn a secret code? Want to learn about wild animals? Go Cub Scouting! (Different “Dens” meet at various places and times.)
Boy Scouts
One of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA’s objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. (Troop 12 generally meets at the Church in the Covenant Classroom on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:30PM)
Venturing
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age. The result is a program of exciting and meaningful activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow, develop leadership skills, and become good citizens. (Venture Crew 12 generally meets at the church in the Youth Lounge on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 PM)
